what were the two remaining quarter final games of the High
School Bowl. High School Bowl is viewed on WMNU, local

Saturday evening one local team Hancock competed in the HS
Bowl competition. The Bull Dogs of Hancock took on the
Flivvers" of Kingsford.
(A f l i v v e r is an automobile,
especially one that is small, inexpensive and old.) The Bull
Dogs are no strangers to this shoot out of academic
knowledge. Hancock has won four championships winning in
1991, 1998, 1999, and 2001.
The first game of the evening was between the Flivvers
of Kingsford and the Bull Dogs of Hancock. The
Flivvers were obviously not impressed with Hancock's 4
previous championships and as a result the Bull Dogs will
have to wait to next year as they were retired by Kingsford
in a really great match and one that was closer than the
score reflects. Final score Flivvers 300 Bull Dogs 215. The
Flivvers were represented by Team Captain Ward Lindeman,
Erin Lehnert, Derek Kruppstadt and Mike Wahoviak.
Representing the Bull Dogs were Jay Woodbeck, Ryan Kent, Zak
Johnson and Paul LaMontte.
