HANCOCK, Mich.Two students have been hurt in a stabbing on
the campus of Finlandia University.
The attack took place in a Finlandia Hall dorm
room at 3:20 a.m. Friday according to
Hancock police Chief Michael Beaudoin.
WLUC-TV in Marquette reports one of the unidentified
students has been treated and released.
Chief Beaudoin stated a student was cut on the hand
trying to break up the fight. He says the other student
received multiple wounds and was taken to a hospital for
surgery.
Beaudoin said that the alleged assailant still is at large
and isn't a student at the school.
