The Klassic Kruisers Car Club
held their 2009 Grand
Finale Cruise Night Wednesday. The
"End of the Season Show" took
place at the Range Beverage
Company on 5th Avenue in Hurley.
The show was also the last
opportunity for the public to
participate in the Kruisers
"Kruisin’ for Kans” food drive.
The proceeds of the fundraisers
are to go to St. Vinny's Food
Pantry. Those who donated to
the food drive were eligible for a
drawing, where restaurant
gift certificates would go to the
winners of the drawing.
Their was everything a car
buff would want see. From Model
A's, to Corvettes. From Muscle
Cars to a VW Bug. There was a
Vintage Chrysler Taxi Cab to an
antique Fire Truck.
Something for everyone.
The show was opened to
anyone who wanted to enter their
classic car. There was
voting by the public for two "People’s Choice Trophies"
Free 1919 Root Beer, courtesy of Jerry
and Carol Pisani was provided and
free popcorn, as well as music and
karaoke and a 50/50 raffle.
Dan’s Auto Body, across the
street, had the body shop open
allevening for anyone wanting to
tour the business. Dan's also had
a raffle for a $100 Cash Prize.
