6 double pork chops
11/2 cups whole kernel corn
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons minced parsley
3/4 teaspoon sage
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 cup diced apple,
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk.
Fat
brown sugar
1 - 2 apples cored but not pared.

Cut a pocket on the bone side of each chop.
Combine next 10 ingredients and mix well.
Stuff each chop with corn mixture.
Brown chops in fat, season, add a little water and bake in
moderate oven (350°F.) about 1 hour or until tender.
When meat is half done, place a thick slice of apple (cored
but not pared) on each chop and sprinkle with brown sugar
Serves 6.
