Carnegie Library holds Art Workshop
with artist Amanda Szot

 
 

Ironwood - August 27, 2009

The Staff and volunteers of the Carnegie held another art workshop this afternoon. The workshop SMAUG! was the creation of local artist Amanda Szot. Amanda's workshop was centered on Plastic Sculpture, using discarded plastic items. A great way to keep these items out of the landfill. . The creations were based on the the Lord of the Rings.

The dragon was created by Amanda, today the children were adding their own creative touches to the whimsical beast. The kids were having a great time while expressing their creativity.

This workshop was funded by a grant from XCEL Energy
