2008 Ontonagon County Fair

An antique power & farm equipment exhibit was a great part of this fair.

and out comes the kernels - just like that!

Horse Show

There were plenty of fine looking horses to please the crowd that showed up for the early halter contest.

Animal Exhibit

Great looking animals shown below could be seen in the 4-H pavilion
There were cows calves, sheep, goats and hogs all the ingredients that go into making a fair a success.

The Poultry Barn

How could a fair be complete without a "Web Footed Friends"?
Grand Prize Winner in Game Bird catagory, a Yellow Pheasant entered by Dean Kocher of Mass City. Sometimes as in this case a photo just replicate the beauty of the real thing.
Below: Did anyone know that rabbits sneaked into the poultry barn?
How quick do these guys (and gals) reproduce? there were only two a moment ago!
