Old Victoria - August 18, 2008
This year's Old Victoria Days marked the 26th
anniversary for the area's premiere Arts and Crafts
show. The number of artists and craftsman increased to
27 this year a 30 percent increase! By mid day
there was a large number of shoppers and visitors to the
the historic village setting.
In addition to the many high quality items for sale
there was entertainment, food and great games and prizes
for the kids. This is a must see art and craft show and
if you missed this year make certain to put on your
schedule for next year. |

In addition to her knitting Martha makes and sells great
jams and jellies. Martha is also in charge of he
Tori (outdoor) Market in Hancock. The market
is located at lower Montezuma park and is open
Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. the
market remains open until October 4th. |

Shellie has been coming to Old Victoria days for over 10
years. This is the only show that Shellie will
participate in this year. Shellie is from Crystal Falls.
Shellie does custom orders and also offers classes and

Morris" .. Ruth offers high-end paintings and also
offers less costly crafts. This Ruth's third time
at Old Victoria after a 5-6 year absence. Ruth is a Mass
City resident. |

jams and jellies and she even makes concrete items for
the yard. (Rhubarb leaf concrete bird feeder above
right) Teresa operates the "Country Craft Cabin"
on North Entry Road in Chassell. Her cabin is open
all week excluding Weds. and Sun. from
10:00 am to 5:00 pm. |

Lake Linden. In addition to the many hand crafted items
for sale Suyeon also gives stitching classes. |

Diane, Herb and Dawn. Herb makes these very
popular had-made stools. Herb also makes Amish furnature.
The Spatz family traveled all the way from Boulder
Junction to be in the craft fair. |

products by Steve and Judy Russell from Iron River
Michigan. They make maple trucks, trains, cars and
other toys and puzzles. In addition they also make
folding wooden tables. This was certainly one of the
busiest booths at the show. |

Barbershop Quartet from Grand Rapids, Michigan. These
ladies are great and knoc your socks off! The group is a

than "Wildflower" their soft folk sound goes hand in
hand with the historic surroundings. |
