HURLEY -- September 16th - WJMS
sponsored the 2008 Senior Expo held
Tuesday from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the American
Legion Post in Hurley. The Health care
providers were on hand with plenty of
information needed by seniors. There were Free Health
Screenings available for those seniors visiting
the Expo. Several Financial Advisors were also
on hand for those seniors needing sound
financial advice. The Annual "Fettuccine
Feed" took place at the Aging Unit of Iron County.
September is National Preparedness Month. The

on hand at the Expo. We met with Liana from the Iron
County Health Department and discussed the
upcoming Flu Shot Clinic, however, we were unable
to make contact with the Iron County Emergency
