The annual Log Jamboree Parade took
place Saturday under cloudy and sometimes
raining conditions. However the weather didn't
dampen the spirits of the parade marchers nor
the crowd gathered for the celebration.
The members of the local VFW and American
Legion posts made up the parade color guard.

transport veterans to and from veteran
facilities.
The Ewen-Trout Creek school Band

will later in the day show off some
basketball wizardry !

This a blue ribbon parade for
sure. Bands, kids, floats and a dog. All we need
now are fire trucks, cars and politicians!

works for the Forestry Service in Bessemer
Bill and Betty Porter from Ontonagon came to
participate in the parade as Reps of the
Ontonagon County Republicans.
