Hancock - February 5, 2009 The
illustrations of talented artist Lana Bosak
were displayed in an exhibit
that opened January 24th at the
Reflection Gallery. The exhibit titled
Pigeons and Digabees will run through
February 15, 2009. Lana is a four year full
scholarship student Lana is from
Minnesota and attended the Perpich Center
for Arts Education her senior year of high
school.
Lana describes pigeons as little pig with
wings.
Bosak's book is titled, "Pigeons: A
Coloring Experience." She describes it as a
silly coloring book depicting different
'types' of pigeons, everything from your
normal every day pigeon to pirate pigeons
and French pigeons.
"I decided to do this
because...well...pigeons are funny and there
are pigeons everywhere," Bosak explains. "I
also have included a hand-sewn six-foot tall
squid in the show. Pigeons and squids: an
amazing combination!"
Bosak is from Minnesota and attended the
Perpich Center for Arts Education her senior
