Ironwood - February 2, 2010 The 46th Parallel Planters Gardening Club invites all interested nature lovers to meet Jeff Richter well-known Mercer nature photographer on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 6 p.m. at Gogebic Community College. Jeff will present a slide show on “Seasons of the North”. He is well-known for his photographs in “White Deer- Ghosts of the North”, “Pure Superior ” and “Seasons of the North”. Jeff will have the books on hand and will autograph them when purchased. The fee for attending will be two non-perishable canned goods that will be donated to D.O.V.E and local Food Pantries. This program will be held at GCC’s Jacob Solin Center room B21. Park in the back and use the first door on the left. For handicapped accessibility, there is an elevator by the second set of doors. There will be signs. Light refreshments are planned. The public is invited to this program-so all members must reserve their seat, too.
