Graduation Fashion Show At Finlandia U

HANCOCK - Each year prior to Graduation the graduating Art and Design students exhibit their work at the Gallery.  Something new was added to this year’s Graduation celebration, a Fashion Show.

Just prior to the reception for the Diploma Works exhibit, Pamela A. Kotila a graduating Senior, produced a fashion show at the Jutila Campus. Pamela is an extremely talented Fiber Art Major. The show included nine models wearing Pamela's creations.

The evening began with opening introductions by Finlandia University Gallery Director and instructor Carrie Flaspohler. Carrie was followed by an address by Denise Vandeville, the dean of  the ISAD. There also were remarks made by Phyllis Fredendall, Associate Professor, Art & Design (Fiber/Fashion Design).

Following the speeches, Pamela entertained the large audience with her original designs for both men and women. Pam has been a dedicated student and her Fashion Show exhibits that dedication. Next year Pam will be traveling to the Far East where she will be employed as a teacher.
