Gogebic Community College Foundation to Host 1st Annual Scholarship Scramble

IRONWOOD - Alumni and Friends of Gogebic Community College are invited to participate in the 1st Annual Gogebic Community College Foundation Scholarship Scramble on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Lac Vieux Desert Golf Course in Watersmeet, Michigan. The 4-person scramble begins with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. CST. The cost is $300 per team, which includes green fees, power cart, $10 in casino Free Play, lunch, a full dinner and award program following the scramble.

Cash prizes will be given in two flights: first place = $800; 2nd place = $600, 3rd place = $400 and 4th place = $300 (based on 30 teams). Cash proxies will also be given at most holes. Door prizes and a 50/50 raffle will add to the fun of the event.

A special room rate is available at the Dancing Eagles Hotel for those wishing to stay the night and enjoy the live entertainment at the Thunderbird Lounge and the amenities of the casino.
