Northern Lights Quilters' Fiber Art Exhibit

IRONWOOD - Northern Lights Quilting Guild held its Bi-Annual Quilt show Saturday at the Ironwood Memorial Building. Once again there were many beautiful quilts on display.

The great quilts are in the perfect environment when displayed in the Memorial Building where the colorful quilts and the equally colorful Stained Glass Windows combine to make a spectacular show.

Many smaller quilts were hung high from the gallery rails. The color of the quilts combined with the great height of the room had a tremendous visual impact.

Fiber Artists from a broad geographical area pooled their fantastic art to produce another wonderful show. It's too bad that these creations take so long make, as it would great if this show could be held annually instead of bi-annually as they currently are.

Too bad for anyone who missed this terrific show, they'll just have to wait 730 days until the next great show.
