Inside where it was a bit warmer and dryer, the annual pouring
of the lead took place at the Ontonagon County Historical
Museum. Visitors from all over the U.P. gathered to have their
fortunes told by what could best be described as Tea Leave
Reading – Finnish Style.
While waiting for your future to be poured into a vat, you could
enjoy refreshments and wonderful seasonal music provided by The
Bruce Johanson Trio.
Later in the evening was the annual Snowball Dance at Eagles
Hall with music by Borderline.
The annual winter festival concludes tonight with a parade on
main street and a visit from Santa at the Fire Hall.
