Northern Collegiate Hockey Association
announces 2010-2011 Women’s All-Academic Team |

Saint Paul, MN. – March 4, 2011: Four members of the
Finlandia University Women’s Hockey team were recently
honored by the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association
for their academic excellence. Senior Alisha Ellertson
(River Falls, WI.), Junior Mariah Mumford (Mt. Pleasant,
MI.), along with Sophomores Stephanie LaMore (Dexter,
MI.) and Kelly Poelstra (Baltimore, ON.) were named to
the NCHA All-Academic Women’s Hockey Team for the
2010-2011 season. |

| Ellertson has a 3.53 cumulative GPA and will
graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice from
Finlandia. Mumford carries a 3.85 cumulative GPA in
Liberal Studies. LaMore has earned a 3.24 cumulative GPA
in the Nursing program, and Poelstra tops the list with
a 3.91 cumulative GPA in Criminal Justice. |
