KLASSIC KRUISERS CAR CLUB & BESSEMER PUMPKINFEST

BESSEMER - October 5, 2011

Mother Nature shone down on the “Car Show in a Pumpkin Patch” again this year at the 33rd Annual Bessemer Pumpkinfest on Saturday.  Forty-five vehicles registered for the show putting on a great display on the old Bessemer Auto lot on the corner of US 2 and Sophie Street.  According to Linda Gustafson, car show chairman, “We had many first-time participants this year.  Great to see!”

Over 250 people cast their ballots for the “People’s Choice” trophies.  First place went to a 1956 Chevrolet convertible owned by Jeff and Tracy Voegtline from Florence, WI.  This was their first time coming to the Pumpkinfest.
Second place went to a 1957 Chevrolet Belair owned by Gene and Joyce Ludtke from Eagle River, WI.
