IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP - Organizer's of the 2010
Gogebic Relay for Life provided for a great deal of
entertainment at this year's fundraisers. Considering the bad
weather which sent the Relay indoors at the Gogebic Community
College Lindquist Center, adding the entertainment turned out to
be good planning.
While wonderful groups such as Brian
Hamlin's City Prayz entertained, the participants were walking
their shifts on the walking track. The track was line with the
remembrance luminaries. These luminaries of course could not be
lit with candles, but were lit with LED rope lights. The effect
was still very good.
Hamlin's Group pictured on the left
is really, really good. If you ever have an opportunity to watch
and hear "City Prayz" do it! |
