Hurley welcomes back Festival Italiano in style
with craft and food booths, flea market, live
music, demonstrations, the LSB, Marty's
Goldennaires Senior Durm and Bugle Corp and the
popular 50/50 raffle. There was Fun and
games for the Kids, and Lots, and Lots of Food.
The 11th Annual Festivale Italiano was
held Saturday, September 5, along Silver Street
in downtown Hurley.
This year's event featured Battle of the
Bands Winner The Lowell Street Band Sponsored by
the Hurley Area Chamber of Commerce. The event
included a flea market and arts and crafts show,
live music throughout the day and evening, food,
games and fun for the whole family!
An Italian Food menu will be featured from
most of the chamber member businesses along and
near Silver Street.
Kids Games were provided by the Hurley
Lucky Clovers 4-H Club, with prizes sponsored by
the Hurley Area Lioness and the Hurley Area
Chamber of Commerce.
Also for the kids were Balloon animals by
Slow Poke Da Clown and Twinkles
Exceptional Face Painting.
There also was the the annual Kids Spaghetti
and Watermelon Eating Contests.
In addition to the Lowell Street Band other
live music was provided including the Ranch
Boys, The Bounty Hunter Marty's Goldenaires
Senior Drum & Bugle Corp
The famous Lowell Street Band performed in
conjunction with a Street Dance on Silver
Street.
