Ontonagon Elementary Students
Perform Holiday Concert
Ontonagon - December 19, 2009

The Ontonagon Elementary School held its 2009 Christmas Program on Thursday afternoon. The students in Kindergarten through fifth grade participated in the event. The show was directed by Ontonagon Schools Music Director, Ben Mayor. The students were accompanied by Yvonne Blake.

Industrial Arts Students Hold Sale

Industrial Arts Students have a Sale  Ontonagon School District - Friday and Saturday the Industrial Arts students had a sale at which they sold the many wonderful items that they made this past year. The wrought iron works were of great quality and we sold at prices well below market value.  Student of the LOI, Troy Bailey, with the item he built himself, a log holder, and had up for sale Friday and Saturday, May 9 and 10.  Read More
 

Ontonagon Girls Finish Third,
Boys finish second
in Ontonagon Invite

ONTONAGON — The Ontonagon girls finished third at the Ontonagon Invitational Thursday. The Boys team finished second behind Calumet.
Taylor Cleary of Ontonagon won the 100 meter hurdles with a 19.36, in the same event Nicole Parker finished 4th with a 19.84.

NIcole Parker and Chelsea Pollard finished 1,2 in the 100 meter dash with times of 14.12 and 14.33 repectfully. Ontonagon's Jenele Linna won the 300 meter low hurdles with a time of 54.06.

In the 200 meter dash the Ontonagon girls; Nicole Parker, Meredith Cleary, Alena Roberts came in second third and fourth with times of 29.06, 29.42 and 30.31.

In the girl's high jump, Jenele Linna was third at 4' 08".

Prom Night"  In Ontonagon,

" Ima Lerner Reporting: The Ontonagon Area School District High School Gym and Cafeteria were decked out to the theme of
"Paris Under The Stars" for the 2008 Junior Prom held Saturday April 19, 2008. Forty-four couples took part in the grand march. Crown Bearers were Luke Soumis and Teddi and Ella Menigoz.
Last year's prom royalty of King Tim Tucker, Queen Anye Bonzell, Prince Michael Kioski and Princesses Lauren Silver, Hannah Axley, and Kelsey Kemppainen were on hand to crown the new royalty. The royal court for 2008 are Prince Tyler Moore, Princess Hailey Frazer, King Logan Roberts and Queen Kaisa Blake.
Dana Brookins was the MC for the evening and the 2008 Prom Committee Officers were President Andrew Pestka, Vice President Emily Seid, Secretary Jessica Chabot, and Treasurer Haily Frazer. Other members of the prom committee were Jonathon Seid, Samantha Anttila, Tyler Moore, Emily Westman, Logan Roberts, Kaisa Blake, Tory Hill, Michelle Bigger, Ryan Huff, and Marja Kemppainen.
